Perhaps the best things in life are free. Certainly our concert admission is free. However, did you know it cost about $25,000 to produce just a single concert?

Your membership in the Whittier Regional Symphony makes a difference – really! Since memberships make up a third of the Association’s income, there would be no orchestra without contributions from people like you.

How fortunate that the entire community has access to truly great music for the price of a membership! The musicians work for small honorariums and thousands of volunteer hours help support the concerts and the children’s programs.

Wisely, the orchestra’s founders provided concerts for free. Over time they engaged the entire community with a passion for classical music. When you become a member, you are paying tribute to the founders and musicians of long ago. Your contribution symbolizes two things: your belief that music is a miraculous work of the human spirit and secondly, your desire to keep music in your life and in your community.
